So, this blog hasn’t quite started off the way I originally planned…
Six months after I started evolvingmillennial.com, this is my first post.
Why?
Procrastination.
Not only has procrastination stopped me writing anything on evolvingmillennial.com for the last six months, it’s the reason that I’ve still not finished the writing course I signed up to twenty years ago.
It turns out that setting up this blog was the latest attempt – in a long line of previous attempts – to kick start myself into committing to that writing course!
As a result, for the last six months, this blog has been added to the list of writing-related goals that I feel guilty about not achieving…
This has to stop. Now.
I’m setting myself three ground rules, to help get things going:
- Post regularly
- Be honest
- Stop procrastinating (of course!)
Here goes…
Don’t worry about posting regularly; post when you have something to say instead. You will feel it is an outlet, rather than an obligation.

Thanks, Dalriada Highlander.
I think I may need to take a bit more of an ‘obligated’ approach at the moment, just until I can get up and running…
Looking forward to getting to the point that I can move past the last twenty years, and posting can become an outlet!

Absolutely, please do make your own decisions, it was only my personal advice because I’ve fallen into a similar trap. Good luck with your posts, I’ll be following along.
